Kane marks his 100th goal for Bayern Munich
Harry Kane has stated that his enthusiasm in returning to the Premier League has faded and he is willing to discuss a new deal with Bayern Munich.
The accomplished striker is at the moment midway through the four-year agreement he inked when transferring to from Tottenham Hotspur for 86.4 million pounds in the transfer window of 2023.
The veteran forward has scored an outstanding 103 goals in 106 matches for the German team, contributing them claim the 2024-25 Bundesliga title - which was the initial major achievement of his distinguished career.
Tottenham boss Thomas Frank has earlier stated that he would welcome to see Kane return to England, where he lacks 48 goals to overtake Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League scoring milestone of 260.
However, the England skipper has now indicated that he is no longer as keen about coming back home as he earlier was, and would seriously think about prolonging his stay in Bavaria.
"In terms of staying longer, I could absolutely see that," he commented.
"I mentioned openly a couple of weeks ago that I have not had those talks with Bayern yet, but if they were to arise I would be open to talk and have an honest conversation.
"Obviously it depends on how the next year or so unfolds and what we attain together. Right now, I would say we are in a superb moment and I am not focusing about anything else.
"In terms of the Premier League, I don't know. If you had questioned me when I first left to go to Bayern, I would have said for sure I would come back.
"Now I have been there a couple of years I would likely say that has decreased a little bit, but I wouldn't say I would never go back.
"What I have discovered in my career is that different chances and different periods happen and things align. Going back to my first point with Bayern right now I am completely all in with Bayern."
Record-breaking Achievements and Future Ambitions
Kane is the all-time top scorer for both Tottenham and England and not long ago became the fastest player this century to hit 100 goals for a club playing in one of Europe's top five divisions, securing the achievement in just 104 games for Bayern.
However, a honor had avoided him until he lifted the German title last season.
Kane admits that he was not sure how he would feel after breaking his trophy drought, but now believes it has made him eager for more success.
"When you win a title like I did last year, maybe it could be natural to go the other way and be like, 'OK I've done what I wanted to achieve'," he explained.
"But it's given me more inspiration to do more and be better. I think I've shown that this year.
"I was interested in how I would feel after winning a trophy. Obviously there's still a lot more I want to accomplish in terms of other trophies and bigger trophies for sure.
"But I think it was always just, in my head, what I was going to feel like after I did achieve winning my first one.
"But for sure, I pushed myself the other way in terms of being even better, maintaining even cleaner, doing more gym. Just trying to get the most out of what I've got right now."
